Last meeting in Portugal
Meeting in Portugal
Last 30th April took place in Portugal, in Penalva do Castelo the last meeting of the Comenius partnership - ALLIC. Between the 30th and the 3rd May the teachers who represented the five countries (Portugal, France, Greece, Estonia and Austria) met at E.B.I. of Ínsua, the host school, to discuss the project goals achieved and to determine the data for the final report.
During the visit there was an exchange of cards and gifts that the children made in "Área de Projecto" classes. According to the schedule prepared for the activities, the teachers and pupils gathered to exchange information on the project and peer coaching was involved in the process.
Also, during the teachers stay there was the opportunity to attend a performance at the public library. The pupils performed a play of Gil Vicente that they prepared in Theatre classes with their teacher, Miss Ana Margarida. Mrs. Manuela Frade, the Music teacher rehearsed and presented the European Anthem and other plays with the 5th form pupils. The 6th form presented a dance from Greece, Sirtaki and also prepared the guided visit to the village.
Cultural activities took place in the village and also in Viseu city and in Porto.
All the school staff was involved in the activities and the Mayor was most kind in welcoming the teachers at the City Hall.
